CARTIF organized a workshop on urban pollution control

Addressed to the municipalities in the region
On 1st December, the leaders of the RESCATAME Life project taught several presentations on the progress made in the project that deals with the control of urban pollution and improving mobility.
The major of Salamanca, and Environment Councilman will take part in the event. This is designed to the responsible of small and medium municipalities size in environmental and urban mobility, which can implement the measures that are being tested in Salamanca since 2 years.
The project aims to relate real-time traffic conditions in conflict zones and pollution in monumental areas through a network of about 40 to 60 spots (compact stations for measuring contaminants) that are already installed on lampposts and street furniture located in the area demarcated for the management of air quality.
