Cartif will ecodesign an electric car

The Cartif Sustainable Management Area coordinate the project Green-Eco-Design Car, approved by the Territorial Cooperation Programme European Space Southwest (SUDOE) and whose implementation will start next January.

This transnational cooperation, two-year ERDF aid has received nearly one million € for the development of a study on eco-innovation on the new paradigm of sustainable mobility: the electric car. The development of the project is the inclusion of environmental variables in the design stage of such vehicles so that they may become more efficient and environmentally friendly.

It is expected the participation of various stakeholders of the sectors (automotive, energy, mobility actors, ICT, public works and electrical installations, etc..) Through an advisory committee, whose entrance is not closed.

The project will be developed in collaboration with partners in other regions of SUDOE, CTM Foundation Technology Centre (Catalonia), Mondragón Goi Eskola S. Coop Polytechnic. (Basque Country), IAT (Andalusia), ITA (Aragon), École Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles avancées (Aquitaine-France) and Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal (Lisboa-Portugal).
