Public presentation of LIFE Valuvoil Project in I International Congress of Soils

Dr. Dolores Hidalgo, managing director of the Cartif Environmental Division,  was responsible for presenting one of the last projects in which the Centre is working. LIFE Valuvoil  aims to complete recovery of waste from used vegetable oil refining, and the study of co-digestion with agricultural and livestock waste and other organic wastes.

This project aims to develop an improved process of anaerobic digestion of waste and by-products generated during the refining of vegetable oils used in order to close the loop and get zero waste in the overall recycling process of these oils.
