Cartif hosted the Workshop Computational Intelligence and Industry

The event was attended by various companies and research organizations to discuss the application of these techniques in the industry.

Among the attendees were companies such as Iberdrola, Vias y Construcciones, Acciona, COLLOSA, Indomaut and Multicyclos and agencies such as the CDTI, SCI2S and relevant research groups such as the University of Granada, UDT-IA to IIIA-CSIC.

The Cartif ICT Division been working for several years in the research of Intelligent Systems based on Knowledge, in which the field of Computational Intelligence is one of the pillars of activity. Within this area, Cartif research applying the results of that line to both social problems and the industrial and service environment in order to obtain technological solutions, economically and socially viable. Some of these solutions already being implemented in projects in which Cartif works closely with organizations such as Iberdrola Distribución Eléctrica, or Vias y Construcciones.
