The signing of the Charter occurred during the III Forum of Economy of Cultural Heritage held in Ferrara (Italy), which was chaired by the Junta de Castilla y León in the figure of the Consellor of Culture and Tourism

The Economy Forum III Cultural Heritage is an international gathering at the Fair framed Restoration of Italy, where officials and experts have proposed a package of measures to enhance the cultural heritage as a generator of wealth.

The Third Forum ARPA Economy of Cultural Heritage in Europe has been a meeting point for companies, institutions, government, R & D and management experts of cultural heritage and provides continuity to the line of work undertaken with the Charter in Brussels on the role of cultural heritage in the economy and the creation of a European network of recognition and dissemination. This document, one of the fruits of the first Forum was agreed by many groups in June and has resulted in the creation of a cluster of Cultural Heritage at European level.
