In today's world, a machine that can handle diverse products without human intervention it's needed, and it has to be able to adapt to the new quality and safety requirements. To accomplish this we use the most innovative technologies.
In the Mechanics area we work in collaboration with the rest of Cartif's areas to be able to face with security comprehensive projects that incorporate automation, electronics and robotics.
This area works on simulation and mechanical design, together with robot mechanics, development of machines and mechanisms, and advanced studies on Theoretical Mechanics.
This area is in charge of studying the tenso-deformational behaviour of deformable solids, both on the static and dynamic states, and taking into account the linear and non-linear behaviour.
