In the last few decades, a growing interest has risen about the diverse ways of diminishing the vibration level that affect both people and different structural systems.
Our work consists in keeping up to date the state-of-the-art control technologies involved, the application to those fields where theses technologies could be implemented, and the development of new solutions.

Development of advanced systems of vibration absorption based on semi-active control devices, for their use in pedestrian bridges and tower cranes.
Increase of the structural damping in tower cranes through the addition of vibration absorption devices with the aim of reducing the movement of the whole structure, and therefore the swinging of the load because of the wind and the load’s manipulation.
