Research areas
In Cartif we research and develop intelligent systems on the fields of automation, robotics, and information technologies. Our interdisciplinary teams, consisting of engineers, chemists, computer scientists, and managers, work on nine areas of study that match the diverse economic and technology sectors.
As bonds of the processes and systems research are the areas of Automation, Robotics, and Mechanics.
The research areas of Energy and Environment are focused on the most required needs on the 21st century.
The Food and Chemicals area is in charge of offering two services that are among the most required by society: feed and health supply. A sector that the Biomedical Engineering area is devoted to entirely, focusing its activity on integrated health technologies.
Finally, the ICT (Information Communications Technologies) area counts with a consolidated research line incorporated into the knowledge-based Intelligent Systems, and the Business Innovation area seeks out the financial and organizational support that the whole company needs to function.
